Log every touch

What never gets written helps nobody but you.

A record is worth exactly what gets written in it. A well-worked, badly-logged lead looks a lot like an abandoned one when someone else opens it, or when you open it three weeks later.

The two header buttons

At the top of the record there are two shortcuts, "WhatsApp" and "Call." Both open a box with an optional notes field.

  • "WhatsApp" opens the conversation in another tab and logs the interaction. You can pick "Open and Log" or "Log Only" if you already wrote from your phone.
  • "Call" does NOT dial. It records that you called. It is a notebook, not a phone: you dial on your own and leave written what happened.
  • If you write nothing, a default text is saved ("Call made," "Contacted via WhatsApp") so at least the date is there.

The Activity form

In the Activity tab, below the timeline, sits the full form. Five types: Note, Call, WhatsApp, Visit and Email. The difference from the shortcuts above is that here you pick the type and write with time.

Write for whoever reads it with no context. "Answered, interested in the north area, follow up Thursday" works; "spoke" is worth nothing.

What writes itself

A good part of the timeline is written by nobody. The platform logs, with its date and its author: the lead creation, every assignment and unassignment, every stage change ("Moved from Contacted → Under Contract · by Mateo Rivas"), reopenings, and tasks when they are created and when they are completed.

And entries arrive from other modules without you doing anything: the client marked a favorite, you shared a search, a loan estimate was shared, the lender updated something, the client returned to their search. If your brokerage has telephony on, a "Conversations" tab appears too, with calls and messages; the Communications course covers that.

The performance report

At the bottom of the tab there is a button, "Generate performance report." The AI reads everything that happened with this lead and returns an assessment of the work done: a score out of a hundred, a summary, strengths, things to improve and concrete recommendations.

It takes a moment and runs in the background. It is saved with its history, so you can reopen it without spending credits again, and if you ask for a new one too soon the platform warns you before spending them.

Tip: Log in the moment, not at the end of the day. What gets noted later gets noted vaguely, and a vague record is the one that forces a call asking "where did we leave off?".
