Your P&L in the Sales Book
The house numbers, period by period.
The Sales Book is where the brokerage's money lives: every closing with its breakdown and, at the top, the period totals. It is the screen you open when someone asks "how are we doing this quarter?".
The period KPIs
- «Total GCI Logged»: the gross commission of the period's closings, with the sale count underneath.
- «Revenue Retained»: what the brokerage kept. This is your top line.
- «Agent Commissions»: what went out to your team, and how many are still pending.
- «Transaction Volume»: what the properties cost. Not commission — and the two get confused daily.
- «Overrides Paid»: what the brokerage paid recruiters for the period's sales.
The period is picked at the top: «Month», «Quarter», and «Year», with «Last month», «Last quarter», «Last year», and «All time» under «More periods». Always compare against the prior period before drawing conclusions from one.
A sale has three states
- «Pending»: the agent logged it. It counts for nothing yet.
- «Confirmed»: you validated it. This is when the split applies, the overrides are generated, and it adds to the agent's GCI.
- «Paid»: the money arrived.
Your team can also propose corrections to data on an already-confirmed closing. They show up at the top as corrections waiting for your review, and nothing changes until you approve them.
The export, with no dressing up
«Export CSV» downloads the Sales Book exactly as you have it filtered: by agent, by status, by property type, and by date. It is a CSV, not a formatted P&L — it opens in your spreadsheet or goes to your accountant, which is where that number ends up anyway.
