Intakes that feed the CRM
The lead arrives typed by them, not by you.
An intake is a capture form: you share it by link and the lead lands straight in your CRM with their answers stored, with nobody retyping anything or losing a detail on the way.
Building the form
- Sixteen field types, from short text to address, file upload, currency and consent.
- Each field is mapped to a CRM value: name, email, phone, message, area, source or budget. Whatever you do not map is still stored as an answer.
- The contact's name, email and phone are required and must be mapped: without them there is no lead to create.
- Fields can be conditional: «Show only if…» another field has a certain value.
Its web address
Every form opens at its own address and you choose the name: «schedule-an-appointment» reads better than an identifier. Careful about changing it later: the old one stops working immediately, and if you already handed it out, it stops working for everyone.
What happens on a submission
- The lead is created or updated in the CRM, and you can open it from the submission in one click.
- It can create a task for you automatically.
- It can enroll the lead in an active workflow. That is where the two halves of this course meet.
- It can end with the client's signature, and even with an agency countersignature afterwards.
Consent, which is not a detail
Consent fields store evidence: on each submission you can view the consent with the exact text that person accepted. And if your text says accepting is optional, do not tick the required box — the screen reminds you, because forcing someone to accept what you called optional is precisely what voids the evidence.
