The override rules
What the recruiter earns, and for how long.
What a recruiter earns is not fixed by the product: you define it in My Agency → «Recruitment rules». And if there is no active default rule, nobody earns an override at all. The screen tells you that outright instead of letting you assume the program is running.
The four reward types
- «% of the agent's commission».
- «% of the agency's commission».
- «Fixed amount in USD».
- «Amazon gift card (USD)».
The first two use the sale's commission only as a calculation base. The override is paid by the brokerage and does NOT reduce what the closing agent takes home: in the Sales Book it appears as its own line, «Overrides Paid».
The three durations
- «On all the recruit's sales».
- «On the first N sales», with the N you set.
- «Until the recruit reaches their annual cap».
Default, alternatives, and exceptions
There is at most one active default rule. Other active rules are «Alternative rules», and they exist to be the target of an exception: you can apply a different rule to a specific recruiter, or to a specific recruiter-recruit pair.
Resolution order never changes: the pair exception wins; failing that, the recruiter's; failing that, the brokerage default.
Everything is frozen onto the sale: the type, the value, and the rule that was used are stored with the payout. Editing the catalog tomorrow does not rewrite what was already paid.
